Avoid mod APK claims. Modified packages can steal credentials, inject ads or malware, break updates, violate terms, and falsely promise paid access.
A modified package is not a legitimate upgrade path
“Mod APK,” “premium unlocked,” and similar labels describe claims made by a distributor. They do not establish entitlement to the provider’s paid service. A modified client can still depend on server-side account checks, so a promise of unlimited access may be false even when the package installs.

The downside is not just a broken feature
A tampered application can present an apparently normal login screen. Entering credentials into it may expose an account even if the promised feature never works. Unexpected device permissions, update prompts pointing to unrelated hosts, or requests to disable protection are additional reasons not to proceed. A polished interface does not make those requests reasonable.
What to do if you already downloaded one
Do not install or open it simply to see whether it works. Use the device’s ordinary security tools and remove an unwanted download. If you already entered credentials into software whose origin you cannot trust, use a trusted browser or device to review the account’s security settings and change reused passwords. Do not reuse the suspicious application as the place to perform those changes.
Safer alternatives to an unaffordable plan
Use the provider’s legitimate free access if it meets your needs, reduce paid usage, wait until your budget allows a subscription, or choose another service with suitable terms. None requires bypassing billing or obtaining an altered installer. The official web route can also remove the package-installation step, though it does not change account pricing.
